* Tender documents will be issued to only those contractors who will submit attested photo copy of up to date certificate of registration in proper category in D.W. & S.D, Jharkhand/other State or Central Government pertaining to respective water supply/ water re-sources/ nodal Department, up to date sales tax clearance certificates.
* Contractors/ firms who are defaulter in our Department are not entitled to participate.
* Tender documents of only those contractors/firms will be opened who have previous experience certificate of execution/ Desilting and successful completion of following works on turnkey basis. Experience certificate which is obtained from Govt. / Semi Govt./PSU/Private sector companies (No any experience certificate of petty contractor will be entertained), is only valid.

* The contractors/firms must have completed Similar nature of work successfully having value equivalent to 50% of the estimated cost in anyone year of the last 3 consecutive years on turn key basis as well as they must have completed the similar nature of work equivalent to estimated amount on turn key basis in the last 3 years.
* The estimated amount may increase or decrease. The earnest money will be payable as mentioned in the tender document and it must be pledged in fauvor of the Executive Engineer, Drinking Water & Sanitation Division, Gonda, (Ranchi). The earnest money should be deposited in form of 6 years N.S.C. VIII^th issue or 3/5 years post office time deposit pass book/ Bank Guarantee issued from a Scheduled Commercial Bank valid for 6 months (Valid only for Company, Firms and Public sector undertaking) from the date of opening of tender.
* The contractor/ Firm should have Owner ship/ Lease document of dredging machine.
* Other terms and conditions of tender will be enclosed along with the B.O.Q. and will be binding on the tenderer. Joint venture is not allowed.
* Right to accept or reject the work will remain reserved with the Department without showing any reason.
* The tenderers should enclose all the certificates and earnest money in envelope 'A' and enclose their rates in envelope 'B'. Both the envelopes should be sealed separately. First the envelope 'A' will be opened. Envelope 'B' will be opened only after the tender is found technically eligible.
* The cost of tender document is non-refundable.
*  The decision of the Department will be final and binding in case of any dispute.
* For further details, contact the Superintending Engineer D.W. & S. Urban Circle, Ranchi or Executive Engineer, D.W. & S. Division, Gonda (Ranchi) on any working day or see the office Notice Board.
* The work shall be executed on the basis of guidelines and provisions of Bureau of Indian Standards and shall confirm to Indian Standard code of practice and CPHEEO manual. Sewage treatment manual, Govt. of India.
* Proper legal action along with black listing will be done against those tenderers, who will submit incorrect /fake certificates along with the tender.
* No escalation in rates will be allowed and no claim on account of delayed payment owing to unavoidable circumstances will be entertained.
* The tenderers are advised to visit the work site before submission of tender to study the local conditions, availability of manpower and material.
* Conditional tenders will not be entertained.
* Intending tenderers may please note that work is of very urgent nature and has to be completed in scheduled time with adequate quality assurance.
* Ranchi will be the jurisdiction of court, in case of any legal dispute,
* Pre bid meeting will be held on 05.05.2008 at 11.00 AM in the office of the Chief Engineer (HQ) in which any clarification regarding BOQ may be had.
