NOTICE INVITING TENDER

1. Tender documents will be issued to only those contractors who will submit attested photo copy of upto date certificate of registration in proper category in D.W. & S.D, Jharkhand/other State or Central Government pertaining to respective water supply nodal Department, income tax, Pan Card and sales tax clearance certificates.

2. Contractors/ firms who are defaulter in our Department are not entitled to participate.

3. Tender documents will be issued to only those contractors/firms having previous experience certificate of execution and successful completion of following works on turnkey basis. Experience certificate which is obtained from Govt./ Semi Govt./PSU is only valid.

4. The contractors/firms must have completed water supply projects successfully having value equivalent to 50% of the estimated cost in any one year of the last 3 consecutive years on turn key basis as well as they must have completed the similar nature of work equivalent to estimated amount on turn key basis in the last 3 years on turn key basis.

5. Earnest money given in NIT is tentative. Accordingly E/M may vary; bidder will have to submit E/M equal to the amount written in tender document.

6. The estimated amount may vary. The earnest money will be payable as mentioned in the tender document and it must be pledged in favour of the Executive Engineer, Drinking Water & Sanitation Division, Jamtara. The earnest money should be deposited in form of 6 years N.S.C. VIII^th   issue or 3/5 years post office time deposit pass book/ Bank Guarantee issued from a Scheduled commercial Bank valid for 6 months (Valid only for Company, Firms and Public sector undertaking) from the date of opening of tender.

7. Other terms and conditions of tender will be enclosed along with the B.O.Q. and will be binding on the tenderer.

8. Right to accept or reject the work will remain reserved with the Department without showing any reason.

9. The tenderers should enclose all the certificates and earnest money in envelope ‘A’ and enclose their rates in envelope ‘B’. Both the envelopes should be sealed separately. First the envelope ’A’ will be opened. Envelope ‘B’ will be opened only after the tender is found technically eligible.

10..The cost of tender document is non-refundable.

11.The decision of the Department will be final and binding in case of any dispute.

13. The work shall be executed on the basis of guidelines and provisions of Bureau of Indian Standards and shall confirm to relevant Indian Standard codes of practice, National Building code and CPHEEO manual.

14.Proper legal action along with black listing will be done against those tenderers, who will submit incorrect / fake certificates along with the tender.

15. No escalation in rates will be allowed and no claim on account of delayed payment owing to unavoidable circumstances will be entertained.

16. The tenderers must visit the work site before submission of tender to study the local conditions, availability of manpower and material s etc. and Engineering condition of the site.

17. Conditional tenders will not be entertained.

18. Intending tenderers may please note that work is of very urgent nature and has to be completed in scheduled time with adequate quality assurance.

19. This tender is subject to legal jurisdiction of court of Law at Ranchi.

20. Pre bid meeting will be held on 11.02.2008 at 11.00 AM in the office of the Engineer-in- Chief in which any clarification regarding BOQ may be had. Biddors are should submit written query, if any, one week before pre bid meeting in the office of E in C
