Bidding documents
may be purchased from the Technical Cell in the office of Urban
Development Department, 4th Floor, Project Bhawan, Dhurwa, Ranchi/Ranchi
Municipal Corporation, Ranchi from 08.02.10 to 03.03.10 on payment
of non refundable fee of Rupess Ten thousand for each group in the
form of Demand Draft from any scheduled bank payable at Ranchi drawn
in favour of Secretary, Urban Development Department, Govt. of
Jharkhand, Ranchi.
Interested
bidders may obtain further information from the same address.
Bidding
document requested by mail will be dispatched by registered/speed
post on payment of extra amount of Rs. 500 (Rs. Five Hundred Only).
The
Urban Development Department will not be held responsible for the
postal delay if any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt
of the same.
3.
Bids must be accompanied by bid security as prescribed of the
amount specified for the work in the above table, payable at Ranchi
and drawn in favour of Chief Executive Officer, Ranchi Municipal
Corporation, Ranchi.
Bid
security will have to be in any one of the forms as specified in the
bidding document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the
validity of the bid.
4.
Bids must be delivered to Technical cell in the office of
Urban Development Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, 4th
Floor, Project Building, Dhurwa, Ranchi on or before 1500 (Fifteen)
hours on 04.03.10 and it will be opened on the same day at 1530
hours, in the presence of the bidders or their nominated
representative, who wish to attend.
If
the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt of the bids
as specified, the bids will be received and opened on the next
working day at the same time and venue.
5.
Amount of work may increase or decrease and correspondingly,
the bid security may also change.
6.
The time limit for completion of projects is up to twelve
calendar months.

7.

8.
The bidders must have achieved a minimum financial turnover
of 1.5 times of the estimated cost of the said work as shown in
column 3 of the said work in any one year during the last five year,
calculated on the basis of escalation factor @ 10% per annum.
9.
The bidders experience of single work of similar natural /
building work should be at least 75% of the estimated work tendered.
10.
Any contractor registered in suitable category with Central
Govt./State Govt./ any P.S.U may participate in this bid.
Agency
of National/International repute having executed work of similar
nature may also participate.

12.
The Urban Development Department, Govt. of Jharkhand reserves
the right to cancel any one or all the tenders without rendering any
reasons what so ever.
