RE-INVITATION
OF TENDERS FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING
OF HIGH MASTS AND OTHER LIGHTING SYSTEMS AT VARIOUS TOURIST
SPOTS IN JHARKHAND
I. The
State of Jharkhand is widely being acknowledged as the region of
natural magnificence with its beautiful hills, waterfalls,
forests, sanctuaries, glorious tribal culture and climate as
well as different places of famous pilgrimages like Deoghar,
Parasnath, Rajrappa, etc.
The
State Government intends to provide appropriate lighting
facilities at various tourist spots in the State in light of
which sealed tenders were invited from reputed
manufacturers/authorized dealers, having at least three (3)
years experience in supply, installation, testing and
commissioning of such items, which could not be opened due to
procedural formalities.
In
light of the above situation, sealed tenders are re-invited for
the said purpose.
II.
Tender Procedure
1.
The Bidders should submit the proposals in two parts:
a. Technical Bid
b. Financial Bid
i)
Technical part should contain all such details as
mentioned in the Bid Document.
ii)
Financial part should contain the financial bid inclusive
of all admissible taxes, duties and levies, etc.
The details of the financial bid should also be included
for better appreciation of the bid.
iii)
These two parts should be submitted in separate sealed
and superscribed envelops.
iv)
Both the envelops should then be sealed in a third
envelop marked as “TENDER
FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF HIGH
MASTS AND OTHER LIGHTING SYSTEMS AT VARIOUS TOURIST SPOTS IN
JHARKHAND”
2.
A complete set of Bid Document may be purchased by interested
eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application to
the Under Secretary, Department of Tourism, Government of
Jharkhand upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/-
(Rupees Two Thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft in
favour of the Under
Secretary, Department of Tourism, Ranchi, payable at Ranchi.
3.
The Bid Document may be purchased personally during office hours
on all working days from
02.07.2008 to 14.07.2008 It
may also be downloaded from www.jharkhand.gov.in
in which case, the fee in the form of demand draft should
be enclosed with the bid document at the time of submission.
4.
The last date for submission of bid is 15.07.2008
up to 1400 hrs at the following address:

5.
The technical bids shall be opened on 15.07.2008
at 1530 hrs. before the duly constituted committee. The
bidder or his authorized representative may remain present
during the opening of such bid.
6.
The Secretary, Department of Tourism reserves the right to
accept or reject any or all the offers, in part or in full
without assigning any reason whatsoever.
7.
The Secretary, Department of Tourism also reserves the right to
cancel/postpone the date of receipt and opening of the tenders
without bearing any liability, whatsoever, consequent upon such
decision.
