undersigned on behalf of the government of Jharkhand State

contractors registered with appropriate classes under RWD/REO/RDD/RCD
(Roads) under any State Government/Central government/MES for
each of the following works of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak
Yojna(PMGSY) including their maintenance for five years:-

Bid documents consisting of qualification information and
eligibility criterion of bidders, plans, specification, drawing,
the schedule of quantities of the various classes of work to be
done and the set of terms & conditions of contract to be
complied with by the Contractor can be seen in the office of the
(i) Ex. Engineer, RWD of the concerned Works Division (ii)
Superintending Engineer, RWD of concerned Works Circle (iii)
Chief Engineer JSRRDA Ranchi between hours of 11:00 A.M. and
05:00 P.M on any working day between 18.07.08 and 28.07.08
Tender documents will be issued from these offices during the
hours specified above, on payment of Rs. 10,000.00 (rupees Ten
Thousand) Only by demand draft payable to JSRRDA at Ranchi.
Bidding
document requested by mail will be dispatched by
registered/speed post on payment of an extra amount or Rs.
500.00(Rupees Five Hundred) Only. The authority inviting tenders
will not be held responsible for the postal delay, if any, in
the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same.
4.
Receipt of application for issue of tender forms by post
will be stopped from 16:00 hrs., four days before the date fixed
for opening of tenders. Sale of tenders forms on the counter
will be stopped on the day and time mentioned in above para.
a.
Bidding document must be delivered to Chief Engineer,
JSRRDA in District Control Room, Ranchi on or before 13:00 hours
on 30.07.08 if the office happens to be closed on the date of
receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be received on
the next working day at the same time and venue.
b.
Bidding document can also be delivered at the following
place at the assigned date and time.
i.
District Control Room of concerned RWD, Works Division.
ii.
District Control room of Concerned RWD, Works Circle.
c.
Bids will be opened at 13:30 hours on 30.07.08 in the
office of place mentioned in Sl. No. 4 (a)&(b). If the
office happens to be closed on the date of opening of the bids
as specified, the bids will be opened on the next working day at
the same time and venue.
5.
Bids must be accompanied by the earnest money of the
amounts specified for the work in the table. The earnest money
will have to be in any one of the forms as specified in the
bidding documents.
6.
The bid for the work shall remain open for acceptance for
a period one hundred twenty days from the date of opening of
bids. If any bidder/tenderer
withdraws his bid/tender before the said period or makes
any modifications in the terms and conditions of the bid, the
said earnest money shall stand forfeited.
7.
A bidder shall not be permitted to bid for works in the
Circle responsible for award and execution of contracts in which
his or his spouse’s near relative (defined as first blood
relations, and their spouses) is posted as Divisional Accountant
or as an officer in any capacity between the grades of
superintending Engineer and Assistant Engineer (both incluseive).
8.
No engineer of Gazetted rank or other Gazetted officer
employed in Engineering or Administrative duties in an
Engineering Department of the State Government is allowed to
work as a contractor for a period of two years after his
retirement form Government service, without government
permission. This contract is liable to be cancelled if either
the Contractor or any of his employees is found any time to be
such a person engagement in the Contractor’s service.
