NOTICE INVITING TENDER
N.I.T. No. – 01/2008-09
BRIDGE WORK ON TURN KEY BASIS
(TWO ENVELOPE SYSTEM)

8. Earnest money (as mentioned in the table above) be attached in form of 8/6 yrs. N.S.C. (8^th Issue) or 3/5 yr. Post Office time deposit Issued from the Post Office of Jharkhand State or Bank Guarantee from any nationalized bank in the state of Jharkhand valid for at last two years duly pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, Rural Devlopment Special Division, Jamtara.
9. Tenderer or his authorised representative may choose to be present at the time of opening of Technical Bid.
10. Contractor who is registered in PWD (Road) R.D.O./R.E.O. Jharkand may only participate in the tender. At the time of buying the tender documents the photocopy of registration, Income tax clearance certificate, Sale tax clearance certificate, Labour license and character certificate must be attached with the application.
11. The price of each Bid/Tender document (S.B.D) is Rs. 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand) only, which is non-refundable in the from of Bank draft in favour of Executive Engineer, Rural Development Special Division, Jamtara, payable at S.B.I., Jamtara.
12. The work is to be done on “Turn key Basis”. The DPR, drawing etc. are available in the office of the Executive Engineer, Rural Development Special Division, Jamtara and Chief Engineer, R.D. Special Zone, FFP, Bhawan, Dhurwa, Ranchi on any working day for reference only. The contractor, however is required to make his own design and drawing based on his own survey, investigations etc. of site which will have to be approved by Chief  Engineer, Rural Development Special Zone, F.F.P., Bhawan, Dhurwa, Ranchi.
13. Tenderers must have experience of bridge work of total bridge of length 120M and single bridge length of 90 M having Raft/Well/pile/Open type of foundation etc.
14. Tenderers are advised to visit the bridge site (on their own cost) to study the details and conditions of work site.
15. Tender is on the basis of “Two Envelope System” of “Technical” and “Financial” bids. Financial bid of only technically qualified contractors shall be opened.
16. Financial bid will be opened on the date communicated by the Chief Engineer, Rural Development Special Zone, F.F.P. Bhawan, Dhurwa, Ranchi in which tenderes may take part.
17. One percent of D.P.R. value shall be deducted from 1^st on A/C Bill of contractor as a consultant’s fee. Contractor will not be paid separately for the same.
18. Contractor is not allowed to sublet the work. Subletting shall be treated as the violation of agreement and if is found the agreement will be rescinded and the contractor shall be black listed.
19. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason.
20. The details of Terms and Conditions of the tender may be seen in Tender/Bid Documents.
21.The department will not supply/provide any construction equipment and material such as roller, cement, steel etc.
22. Work has to be executed on the basis of guidelines and provision of MOST & H Specification and IRC guidelines.
23. The contractor is required to establish his own fully equipped and functional quality control Laboratory at site of work before execution of the work for Quality control Tests.
24.Normally no time extension shall be granted, except extra ordinary Conditions. After Scheduled time of completion the payment will be made after deduction of 10% (Ten Percent) of the agreemented value.
