Notice Inviting Tender No. : 01/2008 – 09

7. If for any reason the above mentioned dates are changed, a separate notification will be issued for it.
8. If the date of opening of the tender is declared as holiday the tender will be accepted on the next working day at the same time and venue.
9. PLACE FOR RECEIPT & OPENING OF TENDER/BID : District Control Room, Ranchi
10. Earnest money of Rs. 2.00 Lac for Item No. 1, Rs. 1.97 Lac for Item No. II, Rs. 2.90 Lac for Item No. III, Rs. 3.60 Lac for Item No. IV, Rs. 3.30 Lac for Item No. V and Rs.3.58 Lac for Item No. VI are to be attached in form of 8/6 year N.S.C (8^th Issue) from the post office of Jharkhand or 3/5 years post office time deposit duly pledged to the Executive Engineer, Rural Development Special Dicision, Seraikella or bank guarantee of any nationalized schedule bank situated in Jharkhand valid up to 120 days from the date of opening of tender, in favour of the Executive Engineer, Rural development Special Division, Seraikella.
11. Tenderer or his/her authorized representative may choose to be present at the time of opening of technical Bid.
12. Contractors who are registered in requisite category in PWD/R.D.D./R.E.O Govt. of Jharkhand, Ranchi are invited for buying the tender documents. The Attested photocopies of registration, Sale Tax Clearance Certificate, PAN Card, Labour License and Character Certificate must be attached with the application
13. The price of the tender documents is Rs. 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand) only for each work, which is non-refundable in the form of Bank draft in favour of Executive Engineer, Rural Development Special Division, Seraikella payable at Seraikella.
14.The work is to be done on Turn-key basis. The D.P.R. drawing etc. available with the department may be seen in the office of the under-signed on any working day for reference only. The contractor, however is required to make his/her own design and drawings based on his own survey, investigation etc. which will have to be approved by the compitent authority. For which no extra payment will be made.
15. The Payment to the consultant who has prepared the D.P.R. will be made on deduction of consultancy fee i.e. 1% of total cost of the bridge from the 1^st on account bill of the contractor. The contractor will not be paid separately for that item.
16. The Technical qualification of only those tendrers will be considered who full fill the criteria of tools and plants and bid capacity.
17. The contractors whose work is either not completed or not found satisfactory in the department will not be considered for allotment of work.
18.Subletting of work is not permitted in any case. If found violating this condition the agreement will be terminated and the contractor will be black listed.
19. The allotment of work will be done on evaluating the avaibility of tools and plants and financial capacity of the contractor and work load in Rural Development Department (R.E.O + C.M.G.S.Y)
20. Work detail is as follow:
a) Construction of Six (6) Nos. of bridges.
b) Approximate length of each bridge is mentioned in Sl. No. 1.
c) Carriage width of deck slab – 7.5 meters for each bridge.
d) Length of approach road 200m in each bridge.
21.Time of Completion 12 (Twelve) Months for each work.
22. Tenderers must have experience of bridge work out of which length of one bridge must be of 100 meters for Sl. No. 1 & 2 and 200M for Sl. No. 3 to 6 having Raft / Well / Pile / Open (type of foundation etc.)
23. Tenderers are advised to visit the bridge sites (on their own) to study the details and conditions of work site.
24. Tender is based on “Two Envelope System” of “Technical” and “Financial” bids, financial bids of only technically qualified contractors shall be opened.
25. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason.
26. The details of the Terms and Conditions of the tender may be seen in Tender/Bid Document.
27. The department will not supply / provide  any construction equipment and material such as rollers, cement, steel etc.
28. Work has to be executed  on the basis of guidelines and provision of MOST  & H specifications and IRC guidelines.
29. The contractor requires to establish his/her own fully equipped and functional Quality Control Laboratory at the site of work before execution of the work for Quality Control Test.
30. Payment will be made as per availability of the fund.
