The Executive Engineer, National Highway Division, Chaibasa, invites-bids for the construction of works detailed
in the table. The bidders may submit bids for the following

2.
Bidding
documents (and additional copies) may be purchased from the
office of (i) Executive Engineer, NH Division, Chaibasa, (ii)
Superintending Engineer, National Highway Circle, Ranchi &
(iii) Chief Engineer, National Highway wing, Jharkhand, Ranchi
from 09.03.10 to 12.03.10 for a non refundable fee
(Three sets) as indicated, in the form of
cash or Demand Draft on any Schedule Bank payable at
Chaibasa in favour of Executive Engineer, National Highway
Division, Chaibasa. . Interested bidders may obtain further
information at the same address. Bidding documents requested by
mail will be dispatched by registered/ Speed post on payment of
an extra amount of Rs. 1,000/-(One Thousand). The Officer’s
mentioned in para-2(i) to 2(iii) will not be held responsible
for the postal delay, if any, in the delivery of the documents
or non- receipt of the same.
Alternatively bidder can download the bidding document from any
of the following website.

However the bidders shall have to pay the above stated
cost of bidding document along with bid at the time of
submitting the bid in form of Demand Draft as stated above. In
addition to above, the bidder shall have to pay additional unit
cost of Rs. 2000/- (Two thousand) for each bid document in the
form of Demand Draft in the name of secretary General, Indian
Roads Congress. Failing to submit the same the bid shall be
treated as invalid, which shall also hold true in case of issue
of original document to the bidder. Or downloaded by department
and then issued to the bidder or downloaded by the bidder.

Bids must be
accompanied by security of the amount specified for the work in
the table, payable at Chaibasa and drawn in favour of Executive
Engineer, National Highway, Division Chaibasa. Bid security will
have to be in any one of the forms as specified in the bidding
document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the
validity of the bid.

Bids must be
delivered to the office of The Chief Engineer ,N. H. Wing ,Jharkhand,
Ranchi on or before
3.00 PM hours dated 25.03.10
and will be opened on the same day at 3.30
PM hours, in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.
If the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt
of the bids as specified, the bids will be received and
opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
5.
A pre bid
meeting will be held on 19.03.10 at 11.00 AM hours at the office of Chief Engineer, National Highway
Wing, Jharkhand, Ranchi to clarify the issues and to answer
questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage as
stated in clause 9.2 of "Instruction to Bidders" of
the bidding documents.

Joint venture is
