Executive Engineer, National Highway Division, Dhanbad invites
bids for the construction of works detailed in the table.
The
bidders may submit bids for any or all of the following works.

Bidding document (and additional copies) may be purchased
by any one from the office of (i) Chief Engineer, National
Highway wing, Jharkhand, Engineers Hostel
sector-III,
Dhurwa, Ranchi - 834001. (ii) Superintending
Engineer, National Highway Circle, Dhanbad & (iii) Executive
Engineer, National Highway Division, Dhanbad from 13-02-2010
to 16-02-2010 for a non-refundable fee (three sets) as indicated
in the form responsible for the postal delay if any, in the
delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same.
Alternatively , bidders can download the bidding document
from any of the following website
(i) www.jharkhand.gov.in
(ii) www.jharkhand.nic.in
However the bidders shall have to pay the above stated
cost of bidding
document along with
bid at the time of submitting the bid in form of Demand
Draft as stated above . In addition to above , the bidders shall
have to pay additional unit cost of Rs 2000=00 ( Two thousand)
only for each bid document in the form of Demand Draft in the
name of Secretary General ,Indian road congress. Failing to
submit the same ,the bid shall be treated as invalid, which
shall also hold to incase of issue of original document to the
bidder or downloaded by the bidder.

Bids must be accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table, payable at DHANBAD. and
drawn in favour of Executive Engineer National Highway Division
Dhanbad. Bid security will have to be in anyone of the forms as
of cash or Demand draft on any Schedule bank payable at Dhanbad
in favour of Executive Engineer, National Highway
Division, Dhanbad.
Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same
address. Bidding documents requested by mail will be dispatched
by registered/speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs 1000=00(One Thousand) only. The Department
will not be held specified in the bidding document and
shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the
bid.

Bids must be delivered to Chief Engineer, National
Highway wing ,
Jharkhand, Ranchi on or before 15:00
hours on 25-02-2010
(date) and will be opened on the same day at 15:30 hours, in the
presence of the bidders who wish to attend. If the office
happens to be closed on the date of receipt of the bids as
specified, the bids will be received and opened on the next
working day at the same time and venue.
5.
A pre-bid
meeting will be held on 18-02-2010
at 15:00 hrs. at
the office of Superintending Engineer, National Highway Circle,
Dhanbad to clarify the issues and to answer questions on any
matter that may be raised at that stage as stated in Clause 9.2
of ‘Instructions to Bidders’ of the bidding document**.
