Bidding documents (and additional copies) may be
purchased from the office of (i) Executive Engineer, NH
Division, Chaibasa, (ii) Superintending Engineer, National
Highway Circle, Abhiyantran Bhawan (near Ranchi Municipal
Corporation, Ranchi) & (iii) Chief Engineer, National
Highway wing, Jharkhand, Engineers Hostel, Near Golchakkar,
Dhurwa, Ranchi from 17-03-2009 to 20-03-2009 for a
non refundable fee as indicated above in the form of Demand
Draft of any Schedule Bank payable at Chaibasa in favour of
Executive Engineer, National Highway Division, Chaibasa. Bidding
documents requested by mail will be dispatched by registered/
Speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs. 1,000/-(One
Thousand) in the form of separate demand draft of any schedule
bank payable at Chaibasa in favour of Executive Engineer, N.H.
Division, Chaibasa. The Officer’s mentioned in para-2(i) to
2(iii) will not be held responsible for the postal delay, if
any, in the delivery of the documents or non- receipt of the
same. Interested bidders may obtain further informations at the
same address.

Bids must be accompanied by security of the amount
specified for the work in the table above and that should be
pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, National, Highway,
Division Chaibasa. Bid security will have to be in any one of
the forms as specified in the bidding document and shall have to
be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the bid.

The bids accompanied by supporting documents must be
delivered to the office of The Chief Engineer ,N. H. Wing ,Jharkhand,
Ranchi on or before
15:00 hours dated 26.03.2009 in DOUBLE COVER
SYSTEM . It should be clearly mentioned on the Envelope
which one is the FIRST and SECOND copy. Each
sealed ENVELOPE should contain TECHNICAL
and FINANCIAL PROPOSAL sealed in separate closed
envelope. The Technical proposal submitted in the first
envelope will be opened first at 15:30 hours on
the same day in the same office in the presence of bidders or
their authorized representatives but the financial proposal will
not be opened. The financial proposals will be opened for those
whose technical proposals are qualified. Only the firms whose
technical proposals are accepted shall be informed of the date
of opening of the financial bids . The second copy will remain
intact. The bids received later than stipulated date and time
will be summarily be rejected. If the office happens to be
closed on the date of receipt
of bids as specified the bids will be received and opened
on the next working day at the same time and venue.
6.
A pre bid meeting will be held on 23-03-09 at
11.00 AM hours at the office of Chief Engineer, National Highway
Wing, Jharkhand, Ranchi to clarify the issues and to answer
questions on any matter that may be raised at the stage as
stated in clause 9.2 of "Instruction to Bidders" of
the bidding documents.
7.
All rights reserve with the undersigned to cancel or /
and postponed the tender without assigning any reasons
therefore.
