2.
Pre – qualification is open to contracting firms and
voluntarily formed joint ventures. Only firms and / or JVs.
pre-qualified under this procedure will be invited to bid at a
subsequent date.
3.
Pre-qualification documents can be obtained from 25.07.2008
to 30.07.2008 between
10.00 hours to 17.00 hours from the office of (i) The Chief Engineer
(Communication) Road Construction Department, Jharkhand, CMPDI
Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, 834008, Phone/Fax No- 0651-2233988.
(ii) The superintending Engineer, Road Construction
Department, Road Circle, Chaibasa – 833201, Jharkhand.
and (iii) The Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department,
Road Division, Chaibasa -833201, Jharkhand ..........
on payment of non refundable document fee of Rs. 10000.00 for
each in the form of Demand Draft on any schedule bank payable at
Chaibasa in favour of Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road
Division, Chaibasa.
Pre
- qualification documents requested by mail will be
dispatched by registered/speed post on payment of an
extra amount of Rs 500.00 (Rs. five hundred), in the form of separate demand draft on
any schedule bank
payable at Chaibasa in favour of
Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Division,
Chaibasa.

Request for the pre-qualification document must clearly
state the name of work/ works mentioned in column 2 of above
table.
5.
Sealed envelopes
containing duly filled up pre-qualification application in
prescribed formats mentioned in documents ( must be hard bound
with all pages serially numbered and singed ) should reach
office of the The
Chief Engineer (Communication) Road Construction Department,
CMPDI Campus, Kanke Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand 834008. not
later than 15.00
hours on 11.08.2008 and
should be clearly marked “Application for pre-qualification
for the work under package no ---, the name of work (mentioned
in column 2 of above table)”.
Interested party/
parties shall submit duly filled up separate pre-qualification
application for each package as per the instruction given in
documents.
The name and the
mailing address of the applicant shall be clearly marked on the
envelope. The envelope containing pre – qualification bid will
be opened on the same day at 15.30 hours in the presence of the
bidders/bidders’ representative. If the office happens to be
closed on the date of receipt of the bid as specified, the bid
will be received and opened on the next working day at the same
time and venue.
6.
Road Construction
Department, Jharkhand will not be responsible for any delay
in receiving the documents and reserves the right to
accept/reject any or all applications without assigning any
reason thereof. The
application for pre-qualification along with documentary proof
of experience, turn over etc. shall to be hard bound.
Loose/Spiral bound submission is liable to be treated as
non-responsive.
