INVITING BIDS FOR CONSULTNCY SERVICE FOR PREPARATION OF
TECHNICAL FEASIBILTIY REPORT AND DETAILED PROJECT REPORT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HIGH LEVEL R.C.C./PSC BRIDGE IN KM 92, 95,
110, 119, 148, 174, 179, 183, 185, 240, 243, 249, 250, 251, 253,
257, OF N.H.- 75
1. Technical and
financial bids for work of survey investigations and preparation
of Technical feasibility Report and Detailed Project Report for
construction of new high level R.C.C./P.S.C. bridge as detailed
below in km,
92,95,110,119,148,174,179,183,185,185,240,243,243,249,250,251,253,
& 257 of NH – 75 are invited in sealed double cover
system. one containing technical bid and the other financial bid
frokm reputed consultants who are empanelled with Minister of
Shipping, Road Transport and Highway. Govt. Of India, New Delhi
in appropriate category.

2.
Qualifying Requirements for consultancy firms :
a)
The firm should have carried out successfully as Prime
Consultant the design for at least one major Bridge of length
more than 100 meters and having each span more than 30M &
above for Government /Semi Government/Public Sector Undertaking
in last two years (attached certificate of completion as proof)
b)
The firm should have completed at least one Bridge having
individual span of 30 mtrs. Or more (Attach proof)
c)
The firm should empanelled with MOSRT & H Govt. of
India, New Delhi, for above nature of work.
3.
The
details of consultancy services broadly cover the following :-
a)
Inception Report
b)
Submission of Technical feasibility Report.
c)
Preparation of Preliminary Project Report.
d)
Preparation of Detailed Project Report Including detailed
engineering design, working drawing, tender documents
for execution of civil work etc.
e)
Obtaining necessary approvals from concerned authorities
including approval of technical Feasibility Report and Detailed
project Report by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
Govt. of India New Delhi.
f)
Bill of quantities, item rates Note for EFC, Economics
and financial Analysis.
4.
The terms of reference for consultancy services may be
obtained from the office of the (i) Executive Engineer, N.H.
Division, Medininagar, Daltonganj (ii) Superintending Engineer,
N.H. Circle Ranchi and (iii) The Chief Engineer N.H. wing
Jharkhand, Ranchi by the intending bidders upto 13.00 hours on
22.07.08 payments of Rs. 5000.00 in shape of Bank draft in
favour of Executive Engineer, N.H. Division Medininagar,
Daltonganj, Payable at S.B.I Medininagar, Daltonganj. The firms
that are enlisted as an Association/Joint Venture/Consortiums
shall furnish MOU/Joint venture agreement along with the
proposal.

The bids accompanied by supporting documents must reach
the office of the
Chief Engineer, N.H. Wing, Jharkhand, Engineers’ hotel,
Sector-03, Ranchi, on or before 15.00 hours on 23.07.2008 in
double cover with Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal
sealed in separate envelopes which are clearly marked as
Technical Proposal and “Financial Proposal” for proper
Identification by registered post or by special messenger and
shall be opened at 15.30 hrs. On the same day in the presence of
the bidders who wish to attend. Financial bid will be lump sum
fee inclusive of all taxes and duties. All statuory deduction
will be made from the bills of the consultant, The Technical
proposal shall be opened first and finacial proposal will be
opend for those whose technical proposals are qualified. Only
the firms whose technical proposal are accepted shall be
informed of the date of opening of the Financial bid. The bids
received later than stipulated date and time will summarily be
rejected.
6.
The bidder should enclose duly pledged N.S.C/T.D.P./Bank
Guarantee of any nationalized bank in favour of undersigned
amounting to 2% of quoted amount in financial bid. The B.G.
should be valid for 180 days from date of opening of bid.
7.
The successful bidder will have to submit Performance
Security in the form of Bank Guarantee/N.S.C./T.D.P. @ 3% of the
contract sum valid for a period of 180 (One Eighty) days from
the date of commencement of the consultancy services.
8.
The intending bidders are required to quote their PAN in
the bid documents.
9.
All right are reserve to reject/Postpone one or all
Proposals without assigning any reasons there of .
