1.The ROAD CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT GOVERNMENT OF
JHARKHAND invites bids for the construction of works detailed
in the table. The bidders may submit bids for mentioned below
work.
NOTICE
INVITING BID FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PREPARATION OF
DETAILED PROJECT REPORT FOR CONSTRUCTION/ RENOVATION OF
EXISTING CULVERTS/ MAJOR/ MINOR RCC BRIDGES/ CULVERT WITH
APPROACHES WITH/ WITHOUT FOOTPATH IN KM 0 TO KM 75 OF NH-75
(RANCHI – CHANDWA
SECTION)
1.
Technical and Financial bids for the work of
survey, investigation and preparation of detailed project
report for construction / renovation of existing culverts/
major/minor RCC Bridges/ culverts with approaches with/
without footpath in km 0 to Km 75 of NH- 75 (Ranchi- Chandwa
section) along the approved alignment are invited in sealed
“DOUBLE COVER SYSTEM”, one containing “Technical Bid”
and the other “Financial Bid” from consultants.
2. Qualifying Requirement for consultancy firms:-
(i) The firm should be empanelled as Highway & Bridge
Consultant category I at MOSRT&H New Delhi .
(ii) The Firm should have carried out as prime consultant for
detailed design for similar nature of work.
(iii) The Firm should have completed the detailed project
report for at least one Highway & Bridge project in last
two years .
* Attach certificates/ Proof for completion as required in
clause 2 (ii) & 2 (iii)
3. The scope of consultancy services broadly covers the
following:-
(a) Preparation and submission of Inception report.
(b) Preparation and Submission of Technical Feasibility
Report.
(c) Preparation and submission of Preliminary Project Report.
(d) Preparation & submission of Detailed Project Report
including detailed engineering design,
working drawings, tender documents for execution of civil
works etc.
(e) Obtaining necessary approvals from concerned authorities
including approval of Technical Feasibility Report and
Detailed Project Report by the Ministry of Road Transport
& Highways Govt. of India, New Delhi .
4. The Terms of Reference (TOR) for consultancy services may be obtained from the
office of the Executive
Engineer, N.H Division, Ranchi by the intending bidders up to
13.00 Hours on 29/04/2008 on payment of Rs. 5000.00 in the
shape of Bank Draft in favour of
Executive
Engineer N.H Division Ranchi payable at S.B. I.
Ranchi. The firms that are
enlisted as Associations/ Joint Venture/ consortiums
shall furnish MOU/ Joint Venture agreement along with their
proposal.
5. The bids accompanied by supporting documents must reach the office of the
Executive Engineer, NH Division, Ranchi on or before 15.00
Hours on 07.05.2008 in double cover with Technical Proposal
and Financial Proposal sealed in separate envelopes which are
clearly marked.” Technical Proposal” and “Financial
Proposal” for proper identification by registered post or
special messenger and shall be opened at 15:30hrs. on the same
day in the presence
of the bidders who wish to attend. The technical proposal
shall be opened first and financial proposal will be opened
for those whose technical proposals are
qualified. Only the firms whose technical proposals are
accepted, shall be informed of the date of opening of the
Financial bid. The bids received later than stipulated date
and time will be summarily rejected.
6. The successful consultant will have to submit PERFORMANCE SECURITY
in the form of Bank Guarantee @10% of the contract sum valid
for a period of two and half years
from the date of
commencement of the consultancy services.
6. The intending bidders are required to quote their PAN in
the bid documents.
