NOTICE
INVITING TENDER (NIT)
The Govt. of Jharkhand
calls for Tender for Preparation of GIS based database management system
in the entire Jharkhand State from reputed Consultants/ Research
Organizations.
The State Govt. desires to
develop a state planning data base include data on demography, occupation,
education, health, drinking water, power, telecommunication,
roads/transportation, BPL data, banks & commercial institutions,
agriculture, sanitation, common property resources, PDS, employment, forestry,
industries, marketing facilities, etc.
The scope of work involves
(1) data pertaining to geophysical resources, human resources, social and
economic infrastructure, etc. should be collected, collated, updated and
retrieved on regular basis, (2) generation of real time, realiable database on
natural resources, socio-economic, agro-climatic condition, financial,
institutional and environmental data using geo-informatics and (3) database to
cater to the needs of planning sharing information to various user
organizations with necessary data analysis, etc and would act as a centralized
data base for State govt. department/ institutions/leading institutions
involved in development planning.
2. Eligibility
requirements:
(a)
The tenderer should be a reputed organization having experience in
undertaking GIS studies.
(b)
The tenderer should have experience of preparing GIS based data base
management system in any state during the last three years.
(c)
The tenderer should have minimum annual turnover of Rs. 1.00 Cr. For
the past three years.
3. Interested
Consultants/Research Organizations who fulfill above eligibility requirements
are requested to submit details technical and financial proposals in duplicate
in separate sealed envelopes giving details of their past experience in
undertaking similar work (along with documentary evidence), their capability
profile, etc. and experience in all respects and fulfilling eligibility, will
be considered.
4. The completion time of
the work will be three months from the date of awarding the contract.
5. The payment will be made
in Indian Rupees only.
6. The decision of the
Govt. of Jharkhand in this regard will be final.
7. Soliciting in any from
will lead to disqualification.
8.Tender complete in all
respect must reach within ten days of publication of this notice in the
newspaper at the address given below:

Tenders (technical bids) will be opened in the office chamber of the under
signed at 3.30 P.M. on eleventh day of publication of this notice in the
presence of tenderer or their authorized representative if they wish to
present. If the tender opening day falls on holiday then it will be opened on
the next working day at the same time. Financial bids will be opened
thereafter after evaluating the technical bids.
