Police is in process of procuring wireless equipments to
strengthen its communication infrastructure. Hence it is
planned to have Field Trial of wireless equipment from various
OEMs or their authorised /certified partners who have
supplied, installed, tested and commissioned similar
equipments in the past. The following Radio equipments are
proposed to be purchased by Jharkhand Police.
1. HF 100 Watt set with
DSP signalling.
2. HF 50/25 Watt Mobile
set with DSP signalling
3. HF Man Pack Set
25/15Watt with DSP Signalling.

VHF High Band 25 Watt static sets
5. VHF High Band 1-2/5 W
Hand Held sets
6. VHF High Band 50/25 W
(with 100% duty cycle) dedicated repeater Set
7. VHF High Band 25W
(100% duty cycle) Mobile Repeater Set
8. VHF Low Band 50/25 W
(with 100% duty cycle) dedicated repeater Set
9. Scanner static
10. Scanner Hand Held (Portable)

All
VHF sets should have features of plug in encryption module. No
sets will be tested which do not have specifications of
VM3/VH3 as graded by DGS&D, however sets of VM4/VH4
features will be preferred. Sets with built-in voice inversion
feature will be preferred. The Field Trial is planned to be
held between 22nd September 2008 to 30th
September 2008. Field Trial for HF sets, VHF sets /Repeater
set, Scanners, Encryption and Integration shall be conducted
on different dates within above period for which the exact
date shall be intimated separately.
It is therefore requested that vendors willing to
participate may kindly submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to
the undersigned latest by 15/9/2008 with their company
profile, balance sheets of previous three financial years,
experience of supply of similar products to others customers
in India with copies of their purchase orders and performance
reports and detailed client list and client certificate. Short
listing of the vendors shall be done on the basis of
compliance to the specifications and performance efficiency of
their Radio sets / Equipments in real time field conditions in
front of the Authorised Field Trial Committee.
RFP document will be given only to the short listed
vendors.
