Notice Inviting Tender No-20/2004-2005

Sealed tender are invited from the manufacturers/authorised dealers or Indian agents for the purchase of following equipments as per the specifications: -

02. The tenders submitted in the letter pad of the Bidder will be received in the office of the undersigned by 4 PM on 26.08.2004 and Technical Bid of the tender will be opened in presence of the bidders or their representative on the same day at 5:00 PM in the office chamber of the undersigned.

03. Bidders are requested to furnish full details and specifications of their products and the warranty/after sale service/AMC etc.

04. All the items will be received at the Central Clothing Stores, Jharkhand, Ranchi.

05. Bidders shall submit their tenders in two separate bids, in separate sealed envelopes. First bid shall be technical and the second shall be price bid. Technical Bid should consist of specifications of the items, tender money, tender cost, performance certificate, Sales tax clearance certificate, PAN no. etc. and price bid should contain the price only. The bidders shall also super scribe on the envelope the category of the bid. Both these bids shall further be put in one envelope and shall be submitted together. Tender number and name of the Firm must be written on the envelope. Price bid will be opened only in respect of those tenderers who qualify in the technical bid and demonstration of their equipments.

06. The prices of the equipments should be quoted indicating taxes separately in Indian rupees only, which should be valid up to 31^st march, 2005.

08. Tender must contain the name, office and residential address including telephone/fax n of the person or persons or firm in India, with their signatures. Unsigned or incomplete tender shall not be accepted.

09. Certificate regarding up to date Sales tax clearance and PAN No. should be submitted with the tenders.

10. Firms will have to deposit a sum of Rs 500/- along with the tender only as tender cost  (non-refundable) in the shape of Bank Draft drawn and pledged in favour of D.I.G. of Police (Modernisation & Provision), Jharkhand, Ranchi.

11. Firms will have to deposit a sum of Rs 5,000/-(five thousand) as Earnest Money in the shape of Postal Saving Passbook or NSC or Bank Draft drawn and pledged in favor of D.I.G. of Police (Modernisation & Provision), Jharkhand, Ranchi.

12. Qualified Bidders should be in a position to demonstrate the efficiency of their products at Ranchi at their own cost before the Central Purchase committee on a date and place fixed for the purpose.

13. Firms will also attach performance certificate of their products, if any.

14. Successful firm will have to enter into an agreement with the Department after depositing a sum equivalent to 5% of the total value of the store as security money in the shape of Postal Saving Pass Book / NSC / Bank Guarantee duly pledged in favor of the undersigned.

15. Firms will have to supply all the items within one month from the date of placing orders. Payment will be made after delivery subject to inspection by the Inspection Team.

16. As the tender is being published in anticipation of Govt. approval placing of order will be subject to Govt. Sanction.

17. D.G. & I.G. of Police, Jharkhand, Ranchi reserve the right to reject the tender partially or fully without assigning any reason.
