of ladies bicycles as per particulars given below from reputed
manufacturers for free distribution amongst Class VIII girl
students. The manufacturing unit should be ISO-9001 certified/
ISI certified.

Tender is to be submitted on prescribed tender form
appended with the tender document which may be purchased from
the office of the Director, Secondary Education, Jharkhand,
MDI Bldg., Telephone Bhawan, Dhurwa, Ranchi–834 004 by
paying a non_refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- (one thousand only)
in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "Director,
Secondary Education, Jharkhand", payable at Ranchi,
during working hours till 06.03.2008. Tenders not submitted in
prescribed form will be rejected.
2. The tender notice and relevant conditions may be
seen or downloaded from Govt of Jharkhand website www.jharkhandgov.in and
www.jharkhand.gov.in
3. In case of use of downloaded tender form the cost
of tender form shall be deposited by the tenderer separately
as applicable by way of Demand Draft in favour of "Director, Secondary Education,
Jharkhand" alongwith earnest
money.
4.
Tenders in a sealed envelope marked conspicuously
"Tender for Lady Bicycles, 2007–08" should reach
on or before 07.03.2008 by 2.00 PM either through registered
post or personal delivery in the office of the
Director, Secondary Education, Jharkhand, Ranchi. Tenders will
be opened in the office chamber of the Director, Secondary
Education, Jharkhand on the same day at 3.00 PM before
purchase committee in the presence of intending tenderers or
their authorised representatives.
5. Tenders will not be considered without earnest
money and also tender fee in case of use of downloaded tender
form.
6. Tenders received after the prescribed time & date will
be rejected.
7. The detailed specifications & other instructions can be
seen in the tender document.
8. The purchase committee reserves the right to reject any or
all the tenders in whole or part without assigning any reasons
thereof.
9. Tenderer will have to submit invariably tax clearance
certificate along with technical bid without which tenders
will not be considered.
