Expression
of interest is invited from IRDA
registered
Insurance companies having fairly wide network in the state
particularly in Ranchi,
Palamu, Hazaribag and Godda districts
for insuring of 7000 (Seven Thausand Only)
indigenous/Crossbred milch cattle and buffaloes in Ranchi,
Palamu, Hazaribag & Godda districts
during the year 2009-10 under Centrally Sponsored Livestock
Insurance Scheme on – 28-01-2010 by 11-am in the office of the
undersigned at Jharkhand State Implementing Agency For Cattle
And Buffalo Development, Jharkhand, Frozen
Semen Bank campus, Hotwar, Ranchi.
Expression of interest consists of two parts - Technical Bid
and Financial Bid, both in separate sealed envelop. The same
Technical Bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders or
their authorized representative at 03-pm
on
the same day.
Terms
and conditions:-
1.
The
Technical and Financial Bid (premium rate) should be sealed in
separate envelop and then both the envelopes should be
resealed in bigger envelop.
2.
The
bidders will have to submit the following documents along with
their Technical
Bid :-
a.
Capacity
to provide services in terms of availability of their network
at district, block and village level in Ranchi,
Palamu, Hazaribag and Godda districts.
b.
Work
experience for cattle and buffalo Insurance particularly in
Jharkhand.
c.
Terms
and conditions regarding tagging and insurance procedure.
d.
Modalities
of transfer of insurance policies during the validity period
of insurance.
e.
Determination
of market price of the animal.
f.
Claim
settlement procedure.
g.
Effective
monitoring of the scheme.
h.
Coverage
for any type of permanent total disability in addition to the
death of insured animal could be given additional preference
but no subsidy in the premium for such additional risk
coverage will be provided.
3.
Financial Bid: - The
tenderer must indicate the premium rate for one year and three
years insurance coverage separately clearly in words and
figures. Only one rate should be quoted against one.
Overwriting and cutting must be avoided and must be attested,
if any. The rate will be universal for all district.
4.
The
acceptance of the tenderer is subject to the considerations of
their service quality as well as premium rate.
5.
The
technical committees will verify the technical aspects as per
the requirement.
6.
The
committee reserves the right to allot the district to
insurance company among all other insurance companies.
7.
The
undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject the Bid
without assigning any reason.
